Our history

Definition
BALSA: Spanish word designating a raft in which the natives stored their treasures.

A family history

The history of BALSA begins in 1984, when Edwin AGUDELO founded his leather goods workshop in Bogota (Colombia).

The artisanal quality of the products that come out of his workshop is quickly appreciated and recognized by major brands in the industry in Colombia (Velez, BOSI, Mario Hernandez, etc.), Mexico and the United States.
In 2015, Edwin's son and daughter-in-law, Iván and Victoria Andrea think up and create BALSA.
